Conveyancing Gone Bad

In a conveyancing matter relating to the purchase of a property, Hutchinson Legal helped a client to avoid unnecessary complications by discovering and advising that the property address in the Contract of Sale entered into by the client was inconsistent with the title search, and that the certificates and information provided by the vendor in the Section 32 Statement were not for the property concerned. If the Contract of Sale was to proceed with all the errors, the client may have encountered considerable problems in arranging finance and probably a huge shock after settlement when he realised that the new address that he informed everyone of in fact belongs to his neighbour!
