Legislative Changes to Same-Sex Relationships

Legislative changes for same-sex relationships will increase the range of visas and citizenship provisions available to same sex couples. Changes to migration and citizenship legislation will take effect from 15 March 2009 and 1 July 2009, depending on the specific Acts and Regulations.
