SRO Land Tax Relief

Land tax may be waived for property destroyed or substantially damaged (such that property is uninhabitable) in recent Victorian bushfires; the State Revenue Office (SRO) will identify the affected land in these circumstances and taxpayers are not required to apply for land tax relief. In other situations, land tax may be waived on a case by case basis; taxpayers are required to complete the 'Land Tax Relief Application form' available from SRO in these circumstances.
