Con's persuasive, thorough and detailed approach to his legal work, combined with his friendly and positive disposition are valued by clients and staff alike. Con regularly acts for clients in matters involving a wide range of bankruptcy, corporate insolvency and business and commercial disputes.
Con is a member of the Law Council of Australia and regularly participates in the Business Law Section - Insolvency & Restructuring Committee meetings in Melbourne.
Con is also a Professional Member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association, Australia’s leading organisation for restructuring, insolvency and turnaround professionals.
In 2005, Con joined Hutchinson Legal and has worked primarily in the areas of Bankruptcy and Insolvency, Commercial Litigation and Employment Law.
Con was a founding partner of the Hutchinson Legal partnership in December 2009. Con was more recently appointed as Managing Partner and Practice Manager of Hutchinson Legal in June 2025.
A keen Western Bulldogs supporter, Con manages to balance his law practice management and legal commitments with a range of sporting and outdoor adventure pursuits including downhill skiing, cycling, indoor soccer and travel.
